Message In cases like my car, where the TCA has failed, and cooling is poor, it would be a shame to vent the a/c system, repplace the accumulator dryer as well as the o-rings and refrigerant, all of which are in good working order. I believe it may be possible to dislodge the TCA from its clip and pull it out w/o having to remove the evaporato box. A new one can be inserted through the hole and allowed to be in the stream, just to a side. New TCAs are also $30 vs $120 for the OEM Z32.

If you ever wondered why your car cools poorly, the following pictures tell a story. Nissan uses an expansion/bypass valve to cool and regulate (primary temp reg) evap temp. Oil weep through the fittings as well as having no filter leads to the occlusion of about 20-25% of the evaporator.

This filthy evap came out of a 1995 NA.
